Hannah Parker

Hannah is an Altoona, IA native and was a five year varsity starter for Southeast Polk High School along with earning first team all-state, all tournament team, district, and conference honors. Hannah started her collegiate career by playing two years of Division I softball for Western Kentucky University where she hit over .500 throughout post-season regionals play and took control of her skillset at the core of WKU pitching. She then decided to make a move and continue her collegiate career at the University of South Florida, where she strengthened her game to lead USF to several postseason appearances and a conference championship. At USF she got the pleasure of playing under Ken Eriksen who is also the head coach for the Olympic team and also working with USF pitching coach Jess Moore who plays on the Olympic team.After graduating with a bachelors in Communication, she got the opportunity to keep playing professionally by signing with the Karlsruhe Cougars in Germany.

Nick Gaudi

Nick is originally from Lancaster, CA. He has a rich baseball background, having played at both the collegiate and professional levels. His collegiate career was spent at Pepperdine University as a pitcher where he was awarded First Team All-Conference awards in 2008 and 2009. After graduating from Pepperdine, Nick was selected in the 2009 player draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers and played for two years in their minor league system. As well as serving as the General Manager of Uncle Charlies, Nick is available for pitching, hitting, and fielding lessons.

Bobby Colello

Baseball, sports, and fitness have been a major part of Bobby’s life for over 20 years. It has brought him mental and physical strength and has taught him life lessons that he passionately passes on to his students. Bobby graduated from Basic High School in Las Vegas, was a scholarship athlete at Arizona Western, and was a former prospect for the Boston Red Sox. Bobby earned his degree in Physical Training & Certification in Education and is a Master Certified Sports Performance Trainer. Bobby has over 15 years of coaching experience here in Las Vegas at the High School, Club, and Little League levels. Bobby is ready to impart his knowledge to Valley ball players looking to improve their pitching, hitting, fielding as well as those who wish to develop their strength & conditioning programs.

Mike Davis

Mike comes to Extra Innings with years of coaching experience following a 10 year MLB career with the Oakland Athletics and Los Angeles Dodgers. Mike was a member of the 1988 World Champion Dodgers and is known for drawing the walk and being on base when Kirk Gibson hit his famous walk-off Home Run in Game 1 of the 1988 Series. He has coached in the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners organizations. Mike played for and learned from Hall of Fame managers Billy Martin, Tony La Russa, and Tommy Lasorda.

Alyssa Ayers

Alyssa is a Las Vegas native who has been playing the game since she was 5 years old. She started high school at Henderson International and won a State Championship there. She then transferred to Coronado High school where she was recognized First Team All Conference, and First Team All State. She was chosen to represent USA Athletes International taking her talents overseas to Australia, Italy, and Aruba. She returned to her alma mater to be the assistant coach of the JV team and then the following year as the head coach of the JV team finishing with a record of 13-2. Alyssa specializes in teaching left handed slapping and defense training but is not limited to that. She is also available to train pitching, catching, and all other phases of the game. Alyssa is eager to pass on her fundamental knowledge and love for the game.

Travis Tartamella

Travis joins Uncle Charlies after a six and a half year professional career as a catcher in the St. Louis Cardinals organization. After spending his last three seasons with the Memphis Redbirds, Travis made his Major League debut on September 23, 2015. He played collegiately at Cal State Los Angeles and Pepperdine University. Travis is available for catching, hitting, and fielding lessons.

Kate Brooks

Katie grew up playing softball in San Mateo, California where she was coached for eight years by Fresno State All-American, Maureen Brady. She was coached in high school by Canadian Olympian and Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo’s pitching coach, Ani Nyus. Katie received acknowledgments such as First Team All-League and First Team All-County three years in a row and led her team to finish as league Champions her sophomore through senior year. At the collegiate level she played at The Academy of Art University in San Francisco and The College of San Mateo before an injury ended her playing career. Katie thoroughly enjoys teaching the game of Softball and sharing her vast knowledge of pitching with young ladies of all ages. Katie specifically loves being able to teach the knuckle-ball and the mechanics of pitching.

Evan Boyd

Evan moved to Las Vegas from Georgia in 2014. Recently retired from professional baseball, he brings great experience as both a pitcher and a hitter. He played collegiately at Mercer University as their starting shortstop for 4 years, then made the transition to pitcher during his professional career. Evan is available for pitching, hitting, and fielding lessons.

Chris Castellanos

Chris was born and raised in Long Beach, CA. Out of high school he earned a scholarship to Stanford University, eventually leading his team in innings pitched and wins both his junior and senior year. The Seattle Mariners selected him in the 2017 MLB draft, but a rotator cuff injury ended his career after 2 seasons. New to Las Vegas, Chris is anxious to join the baseball community to help young pitchers develop sound mechanical techniques, establish a throwing routine, and improve their mental skills on the mound.

Scott Tomassetti

Scott joins the Uncle Charlie’s Instructional staff after ending his professional career in the Philadelphia Phillies organization. Scott played locally at UNLV and Sierra Vista High School. Scott specializes in Hitting, Fielding, and Catching Instruction as well as Strength, Agility, and conditioning.

Jake Hager

Jake is a Las Vegas native and active professional player. After graduating from Sierra Vista High School Jake was selected in the first round by the Tampa Bay Rays. He just completed the 2018 season with the AAA San Antonio Missions. Jake is available for hitting and fielding lessons. Schedule an off-season lesson with Jake before he leaves for the 2020 campaign.
